Gate Opener Sprockets
How to fix Automatic Gate Opener?
Remote control for gate is sending (open/close) signal to the controller but the gate will not open.I can hear and feel the motor buzzing inside but it is not turning the sprocket which opens the gate.When gate is unlocked from system it opens freely so its not jammed on it’s runner.Model is Comex EX5.

So now open the box the motor is in and confirm why motor turns but not sprocket. Could it be the keyway has sheared or that the bolts on the sprocket have come loose? What`s that? You have no idea how to fix that . May as well let the butler call the repairman , then.
