WHich one should i get?
i am an advanced beginner and looking to buy a horse…and i really like these two. so i need you final decision…lexi or rosie…thanks.

also i have a an acre of property with hog wire fencing with wooden posts..the fence is 4ft 8″ and then on one part there is a picket fence and it’s about 3′ 6″ high so i was wondering if i could take rope with a diameter of 1” and tie it to the Gate and to the barn like diagonally and put 5 or 6 strands there. then around the property there’ s a strand of barbed wire around the whole property……for sure i was going to take the stuff off but should i use rope, heat tape, or an electric strand but i need to use the cheapest one because i’m on a tight budget. thanks so much.
If you are a beginner, you do not need an unbroken horse with foot issues, nor do you need an aging horse who is described as “for light riding & leadlining children”, which is horse-dealer speak for “shes too tired/sore to go faster than a walk and if someone who weights more than 80 pounds gets on her, all 4 legs will shatter into a million tiny pieces”. From her pictures, she looks like a hard keeper.
Please do some research before adopting a horse from CBER – I’ve never dealt with them personally, but I’ve heard some very odd stories about them.
Honestly though, no reputable rescue is going to give a horse to someone who thinks that rope tied over picket fence is an adequate fencing material. Just FYI – horses, wire & rope don’t mix.
